R‑rib Metal Siding Panels for Sale
When you want metal siding that makes a statement, Kauffman’s R‑rib panel delivers. As with G-rib, these panels work well for agricultural, commercial, and residential needs. What sets them apart is thicker steel and taller, angular ribs, which add rigidity, giving extra strength and long-term value. (And, like the G-rib, these panels work well for roofing.) Due to their thickness and form, they can span longer distances and withstand more demanding situations.
Metal R-rib: a reliable solution for your siding needs
The R‑rib’s taller ribs add stiffness for walls and roofs on barns, post‑frame buildings, shops, and homes. As an exposed‑fastener system, panels are relatively easy to install, being fastened through the face with properly gasketed screws. We offer over 20 colors for panels and trim. For long-term peace of mind, painted panels feature a 40‑year transferable warranty.
Quality panels made for decades of protection
Every part of our panels is made to endure. Panels start as Grade 80, 26-gauge coiled steel that comes from US sources. With our rollformer, we cut and press the steel into 36” panels which have four 1 ¼”tall ribs for a crisp appearance. We have two coating options for the panels: painted and unpainted. For hardness, UV resistance, and gloss retention, painted R‑rib has an AZ‑50 substrate with a tough primer under CERAM‑A‑STAR 1050 silicone‑modified polyester. Unpainted Galvalume panels use AZ‑55 to protect from corrosion. So whichever panel coating you choose, you can be assured of long-term protection.
